How to make swedish pancakes?

Okay I make Swedish pancakes and when I take them off they rip. I have a griddle thats supposedly nonstick. I have tried adding butter on the pan but that didn't work. Is there a type of oil that I should use? Does anyone have a recipe from Sweden or that has been handed down through their family? Could you give me the recipe?
