He likes you. He is showing you a great amount of interest for a guy who is only flirting. Even with flirting, a person just spends a small amount of time. I say go see what is up with him and see his response. You have nothing to lose. You are not dating anyone now, so go and see for yourself. If he hedges or acts like you are just friends, tell him to grow a pair and tell him he is now your boyfriend whether he likes it or not and then get to know him.
